Privacy Policy

We built Rippl on a single principle: what you do here is private.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and the date you joined. That is all we collect about you as a person.
When you log an act of kindness, we store the act description, the category you chose, your country, the date, and the type (performed, experienced, or witnessed). We do not store your name alongside any act.
When you invite someone, we store the recipient email address so we can send the invitation. We do not store it beyond that purpose. The sender is never identified in any email we send.
What we do not collect
- Your full name (unless you choose to set a nickname).
- Your location beyond the country you choose when logging an act.
- Any behavioural tracking or analytics beyond basic usage.
- Any third-party advertising data.
How your data is used
- Your email is used to authenticate your account via Google.
- Acts are displayed on the global feed without any attribution — no name, no account link.
- Your personal ripple network is visible only to you when you are signed in.
- We do not sell, share, or licence your data to any third party.
Anonymity on the feed
Acts on the global feed are completely anonymous. There is no way for another user to identify who logged an act. Country information is shown, but no personal details.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies.
Data retention
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will process deletions within 14 days.
